Interestingly enough, this isn’t ADÉ first rodeo in the realm of self-discovery, as his catalogue already boasts a purely introspective record titled “Something True” as part of the #PhilAdeFriday giveaway synonymous with the “previous regime.” Personally-speaking, “realness” and “true” are intrinsically different, especially in the heat of emotional upheaval.
ADÉ seems to have endured enough of this so-called “emotional upheaval” to distinguish one property from the other. ADÉ’s subtle name change is in itself a strong indicator of “upheaval,” but on the mildest of terms. Sometimes us warmongering types shave our heads, other times, it’s something as innocuous as a working pseudonym that goes the way of the wind.
